VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS

REGISTRATIONS FOR VOLUNTEERING ARE ACCEPTED ONLY ON MONDAYS!

GETTING DOCUMENT OF THE RESIDENCE OF A FOREIGNER -WHITE CARD

Valid only for foreigners!
Document of residence of foreigner named white card (bijeli karton) should be provided by the hosts or accommodation, they must register you officially.
(They can print confirmation or they make it manually at police station).
Check with accommodation first if they are registered!

This document is required
 to allow you do volunteering work.

WHITE CARD can be only obtained within 48 hours (working hours) after arrival in BiH.

SIGN CONTRACT

When you have the White card, you go to main Foundation office. You need bring with you the White Card and ID or Passport (which you use for crossing the border)! Location is in Spa center house, 1st floor, back side of the  building. It will took you around 30min to sign contract.
Working hours are from 9:00 - 14:00.

We will send you exact information, when and where is meeting point and procedure.

ARRIVING TO WORKING LOCATION

Monday is Paper day, where you sign the contract and get guided tour and information about our program.

You start working on Tuesday. Meeting location is at 8:30 in front of Main tunnel Ravne.

READY FOR WORK

Make sure that you have working (or casual) clothes and good shoes. You will probably need jacket when we work in tunnels its only 13°C.

Foundations will provide tools, gloves and safety helmets.

Schedule:
Working    9:00 - 14:00  (with breaks)
Lunch        14:00 - 15:00

How long is the volunteer season?

Volunteer Season open on Monday, 3.6.2024 and close on Friday, 18.10.2024.

Do you issue a Beli karton (white card) (residence of foreigners in BiH)?

No, this is only avaible on Police station or Foreign affairs department (Služba za poslove sa strancima). White card can be only obtained within 48 hours (working hours) after arrival in BiH.
CAUTION!!! When you go to police station, you need go with landlord or take his ID!

Do i need sign any paper or contract?

Yes. The Foundation is an official institution and therefore each participant must sign a contract of voluntary work.

How long i can volunteer?

The shortest time volunteering is 1 day and up to 2 months maximum.

Can i extend the volunteering?

Yes, you can extend volunteering anytime you want, just talk with coordinators. But still the upper limit is 2 months.

Does the Foundation provide accommodation?

No, everyone has to arrange the accommodation for themselves.

What does the foundation provide?

The Foundation provide instruction, coordinators, working equipment, place to work and one free meal per day. All volunteers get free tour.

How much does volunteering cost?

Volunteering is free including one meal per day. Only cost is 5€ when you apply and sign contract (this we need to pay to the municipality for insurance).
